Fazayah Beach is one of Dhofar's most pristine and remote coastal spots. Tucked directly beneath the dramatic, towering cliffs of Jabal Al Qamar (the Moon Mountains), it features five kilometers of soft white sand, turquoise waters, and unique rock formations—completely isolated from large crowds and commercial developments.
Accessing Fazayah Beach requires descending a steep, winding, unpaved off-road mountain track down to the shoreline. Standard sedan cars cannot navigate this terrain safely. Our modern, air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles and experienced local Omani drivers ensure a safe, smooth, and comfortable off-road journey.
The total tour duration is approximately 6 hours. Because this is a private excursion reserved exclusively for your group, start times are completely flexible. You can choose a morning departure (e.g., 8:30 AM) to maximize beach time or an afternoon departure to enjoy the golden sunset light against the mountain cliffs.
October through May (Sun & Beach Season): Yes! The sea is typically calm, clear, and inviting for swimming, wading, and relaxing along the shore.
June through September (Khareef Monsoon Season): Sea swells, strong currents, and high waves make ocean swimming unsafe. However, the misty mountain drive through Jabal Al Qamar and the sight of ocean waves crashing against the green-draped cliffs are stunning.
Fazayah is a completely wild and untouched natural beach with no commercial shops, cafes, or permanent structures. We provide chilled bottled water in the vehicle. If you would like to bring extra snacks or drinks for a beach picnic, your guide will gladly stop at a local shop in Salalah before heading west.
Door-to-door complimentary pick-up and drop-off are included from any hotel, resort, private accommodation in Salalah, Salalah International Airport (SLL), or the Salalah Cruise Port.
Clothing & Swimwear: Lightweight, breathable clothing, swimwear, and a beach towel if you plan to enter the water.
