Make It Yours
This itinerary is the default, not a fixed package. Every expedition is built around what you want:
Extend the expedition. Add extra nights deeper into the Rub’ al Khali — for travellers who want to go further than 3 days, we can build a 4-, 5-, or 6-night route with additional remote wild-camp locations. Tell us your available time and we’ll design the extension.
Choose your camping style.
- Wild camping only — every night in a private tent on the dunes, no desert camp, no fixed toilets, maximum silence and isolation. For travellers who want the deepest possible immersion.
- Desert camps only — both nights at staffed Bedouin camps with real beds, shared facilities, and the option to upgrade to a private desert lodge. For travellers who want the desert experience with more comfort.
- Mixed (the standard itinerary above) — one night of each, giving you both extremes.
Dune driving lessons. Learn to read and drive sand dunes safely under the direct supervision of your guide — recovery technique, tyre pressure, line selection. Available as an add-on for any itinerary.
Bring your own 4×4. Rent one of our 4x4s with rooftop tent and drive the expedition yourself in a two-car convoy, following your guide’s vehicle the entire way. You get the independence of self-driving with a professional desert guide leading the route and handling safety and logistics.

I honestly can’t recommend Go Salalah enough! My trip to Salalah was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had and it’s a trip I’ll never forget. Everything was planned so well and went incredibly smoothly. Everything was on time, well organized, and whenever we asked to adjust or change something in the plan, they were always so friendly, flexible, and accommodating. I’m so grateful to Go Salalah for the incredible memories I made during this trip. A special thanks for Kate and her whole team for their kindness and easy going support throughout the trip. I’m genuinely not exaggerating when I say I would recommend Go Salalah to anyone visiting Salalah. I had such an amazing experience and made memories I’ll always cherish. I would 100% book with them again when I go back!Posted on Google![]()

We spent 4 days in Salalah with Go Salalah and they were absolutely amazing from beginning to end. What stood out to me the most was how genuinely kind and helpful everyone was. It never felt like we were just customers to them. They were so welcoming, patient, generous, and always made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. You can really tell they care about the people they’re hosting. They made our whole experience in Salalah so easy and so memorable, and a huge part of why we enjoyed the trip as much as we did was because of them. I genuinely wouldn’t recommend coming to Salalah without booking with Go Salalah. They know the place, they take care of you, and most importantly, they’re just really good people. Thank you so much to the whole team for everything you did for us during those 4 days. We came to see Salalah, but the way you treated us like friends and family is honestly one of the things we’ll remember most ❤️Posted on Google![]()

We started our trip on August 24th, and from the beginning, everything with Go Salalah Tour was smooth and easy. Communication was excellent, from booking and picking up the car to answering all our questions throughout the trip. They also shared great recommendations and helped us discover some of the best places in Salalah. This trip was just the beginning, and I’ll definitely deal with them again in the future. A special thanks to Kate for always staying in touch and answering all our questions, and to Abdulaziz for always being available and supportive. Thank you Go Salalah Tour for a great experience! ❤️Posted on Google![]()

I had such a wonderful experience with Go Salalah Tours. My guides, Ahmed and Ibrahim, were both fantastic, knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. Ibrahim took shortcuts to make the journey easier and even treated me to a lovely snack. Kate, the manager, was incredibly helpful and sweet, and the owner was so lovely too. Everyone made me feel very welcome, and I truly enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend them!Posted on Google![]()

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended! I contacted Go Salalah Tour through WhatsApp and was impressed by their prompt and helpful response. The entire process was smooth, including the convenient payment arrangements. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Definitely a service I would highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Azuz was a fantastic guide on our East Khareef Tour. He was extremely informative, knowledgeable and patiently answered every question we had. What stood out most was how wonderfully he interacted with my 10-year-old son, while also keeping my two older, almost-adult kids engaged and interested throughout the tour. Patient, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. A big thumbs up 👍 to Azuz for making our experience so enjoyable and memorable.
